Deleting an OU

This topic explains how to use the Active Directory module for Windows PowerShell to delete an organizational unit (OU).

Example

The following example demonstrates how to delete the OU Test in the Fabrikam.co domain:
Remove-ADOrganizationalUnit Test -Recursive
If the flag for ProtectedFromDeletion is set to True, this cmdlet does not delete the OU and it returns an error.
